If we have not done so well, we need to hear about it. If you wish to file a formal complaint against an agency policy or a specific officer, feel free to use our Complaint Form (PDF) (using this form is not mandatory). Bear in mind:
Every complaint becomes a public record.
Every complaint is reviewed personally by the Chief of Police.
Complaints may be shared with other departments and agencies.
Anonymous complaints are okay, but we will not be able to get back to you regarding the status or outcome of the complaint unless you give us a method to do so.
You may submit your complaint by emailing the Police Department, by stopping in at the police station between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on regular business days, by calling 206-842-5211, or by mailing it to the station at: 625 Winslow Way E, Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110.
