Comprehensive Plan 101 was an introduction to the Comprehensive Plan Update process and requirements, and an overview of the Growth Management Act (GMA). The evening began with a presentation by Joseph Tovar, FAICP, an expert in GMA with decades of experience interpreting and implementing Comprehensive Plan Updates, and was followed by a presentation from the City Planning Commission and a facilitated panel discussion including City Manager, Doug Schulze, Director of Planning and Community Development, Katherine Cook, and Director of Public Works, Barry Loveless.
