City Advisory Groups

The city strongly encourages people from traditionally marginalized communities and under-represented groups, i.e., people of color, immigrants, people with disabilities, trans and gender non-conforming people to apply for City advisory committees. Water Quality and Flow Monitoring Program

Volunteers will assist with activities such as water sampling, sediment sampling and flow and physiochemistry measurements. City staff will provide training and guidance on the program. For more information, email Christian Berg, Water Resources Specialist.

Kiosk & Dock Host

The Kiosk and Dock Host greets visitors and assists guests and boaters. The volunteer helps guests feel comfortable and welcome by answering questions and providing assistance to boaters. For more information, email harbor@bainbridgewa.gov or call 206-842-5211.

Emergency Flotilla

The Emergency Flotilla is a roster of individuals and their boats that are willing to serve in the event of an emergency. Their duties are to take volunteer requests from the Emergency Operation Center and carry them out on the waters of the City and adjoining waters in King and Kitsap County.
